On December 10th ENAIP NET organized the final Thematic Workshop of the METVET project. The webinar entitled “A Training Path for All: METVET Curriculum & Syllabus responding to professionals’ needs of the aluminum and metal sector in Europe” was meant to engage stakeholders, sector experts and partners in the dialogue about the potential exploitation of the METVET core output, namely the Curriculum and Syllabus (WP4).
The workshop was organised by ENAIP NET (WP6 leader) in close collaboration with t2i - Technology Transfer an innovation, an Italian innovation Agency specialized in the construction sector in terms of innovation, specific training, technologic transfer services and quality testing.
Experts coming from Italy, Germany and Greece attended the event to share their views about the Curriculum and Syllabus and how to use/adapt it to their local/regional context taking into account the specificities of the VET sector in their country. For instance, t2i brought the contributions collected during a Focus Group organized with Italian experts of the sector and shared their inputs suggesting the development of a training program targeting cVET (ie. for professionals and workers who might want to attend upskilling or reskilling pathways). Indeed, the increasing demand of the labour market for high-skilled/qualified professionals in Italy was boosted following the publication by the government of national incentives for building renovation of the last months.
The webinar’s main output is linked to the development of a Discussion paper presented during the Italian National Forum on 15th December."
