On the 15th of December ENAIP NET organized the Italian National Forum of the METVET project. The event gathered almost 20 representatives amongst stakeholders of construction sector and VET actors willing to receive an insight of the METVET key output: The Curriculum and Syllabus (C&S).
 

Thanks to the support of T2i, ENAIP NET presented the METVET project and the first adaptation of the METVET Curriculum and Syllabus as a cVET training programme, taking into account the specificities of the Italian metal and aluminum sector. As a matter of fact, there is an urgent need to upskill/reskill professionals already working in the sector but: a. which do not always own market most requested skills (i.e. green/digital skills); b. which need to align their professional background to this specific job. In fact, most recent national regulations allocating important incentives for building renovation in Italy have generated a big request of interventions that cannot be exhaustively answered by existing professionals.
 

Therefore, the METVET C&S represents an important contribution within this scenario in terms of training offer answering to a market request and of learning opportunities specifically addressing professionals of the metal and aluminum sector in Italy.
 

The National Forum saw in the Roundtable the main point for discussion and sharing of inputs on the METVET project as well, while discussing the general topic of “What are the main training needs of the future professionals of the construction sector in EU?”. Key messages and contributions were collected and summarized in the report of the event.
 

In terms of dissemination, an comprehensive overview of the METVET project and its key outputs were presented by ENAIP NET and the METVET official video were showed.
